Monthly platform fees are due on the 1st of each month. Pay via M-Pesa STK push from your dashboard. Accounts unpaid by the 3rd are suspended until fees are cleared.
Frequently asked questions
How does SPEEDWAVE platform billing work?
You pay a one-time KES 500 onboarding fee after signup, then a monthly platform fee based on your previous month earnings (from KES 500 to KES 2,500), plus KES 25 per PPPoE user. Customer WiFi payments still go to your Till or Paybill.
Does SPEEDWAVE work with MikroTik only?
SPEEDWAVE is optimized for MikroTik hotspot and PPPoE deployments used by most Kenyan WISPs. Router onboarding and bandwidth shaping are built around RouterOS workflows.
Where do M-Pesa payments go?
Payments go to your configured Till, Paybill, or bank channel via integrated gateways. SPEEDWAVE tracks transactions and activates packages automatically.
Can subscribers reconnect after expiry?
No. They can only reconnect when codes renew on package extension, compensation, or voucher use on the same MAC — with expiry when the package ends.
How is “online” status determined?
A user shows online only when the router is reachable, the session is active, and recent activity confirms a real connection — not just a completed payment.
